Good morning,Hundreds of regional small investors are learning their equity is likely worthless following the sudden sale of Voodoo Brewing Company. In a Tuesday email, Chairman Matthew Rachocki stated that those who backed a half-million-dollar crowdfunding campaign in 2024 should prepare for a complete financial loss. The news follows recent closures of Voodoo’s corporate pubs in Meadville and Erie, alongside an active million-dollar lease lawsuit in Pittsburgh.Meanwhile, utility-scale clean energy is heading to rural Crawford County. Officials say construction begins soon on a massive, 139-acre solar farm in Athens Township. The 20-megawatt facility is projected to be fully online by September and will generate enough electricity to power 2,500 area homes annually.And local eighth-graders are stepping up as civic leaders.
